Some days ago, Cobra Black Fin official website announced an news, the Cobra Black Fin hardware system is now available and have already started to sell on the market. You may have a quesiton: what is Cobra Black Fin? BlackFin is the first peer to peet game sharing device for PS Vita. It allows you to share your friends' game titles by connecting to a P2P network from your PC.

Cobra BlackFin is currently supported up to PS Vita Firmware 3.57. We are now developing for fireware 3.60. Please don't update your console over 3.57 fireware on the meantime -- comes from BlackFin Team

The Cobra BlackFin Hardware includs four parts:
1. The BlackFin reader
     It allow you to connect your own game cards to the network, dump the games' ISO, then start to share the game.
2. The BlackFin Card Emulator
     It allow you to emulator a Vita game card by using a game's ISO and access to the original game via the network.
3. The BlackFin Dongle
     It is a simple Bluetooh 4.0 Low Energy dongle for PC

     Connect the BlackFin Reader to PC

The Cobra BlackFin Software
This is the link bewteen BlackFin Reader and Card Emulator. In order to emulate and run a game, it need to access the real game card ISO for authentication.The game ISO resides on the mircoSD card, insert it into the BlackFin Emulator, then the software handles the communication between the Emulator and Reader via bluetooth and BlackFin server.

The Software comes into two parts:

•  BlackFin Application which serves as the main user interface
•  BlackFin Server which can be used for running your own servers

You can connect BlackFin app to the cobra-black.com servers or localhost, or any other third-party servers.
